Autumn Equinox is always a time for
recognizing transitions as well as the places of balance in our lives.
 
As harvest is so visible here in The Gorge where I live, gleaning is on the mind.
 
How shall we store & celebrate the fruits
of our years?
 
How shall we grieve the lost crops & dreams that didn't thrive?
 
What are we taking with us into the next
season of life?
 
What are we leaving in the field of the past
for composting?
 
What transitions are we resisting 
in this time of equal parts light & dark?
 
From individual transitions in our commUNITY to the shifts of our shared world... 
we will move together on this seasonal holy day 
to pause & appreciate that we are all here, now -
