Our day-to-day lives are often a practice of holding in and holding on. But it doesnt have to be that way. How about if instead of controlling and constraining ourselves, we let ourselves blossom, let our hearts open to the sacred fire that is our true essential nature? What if we do so in such a way that leaves room for everyone else to also be free? Conscious Dance is such a path and such a practice.
Our hearts are powered by the same cosmic exuberance that ignites galaxies into being, flowers to bloom, and dolphins into flight. To quote Gabrielle Roth: “Each of us is a moving center, a space of divine mystery. And though we spend most of our time on the surface in the daily details of ordinary existence, most of us hunger to connect to this space within, to break through to bliss, to be swept away into something bigger than us…”
Each year we call together the greater dancing tribes from the four corners of the earth. Set right in the heart of summer, this workshop features five amazing movement teachers, each with a unique offering on this year’s shared theme. Our Gathering is composed of embodied dancers from around the world and a fabulous celebratory dinner together. Join new friends and old for a remarkable weekend of joyful movement and discovery.

Anne Marie Hogya
Anne Marie is fiercely committed to truth-seeking and to creating workshops that blend grounded practicality with wild, creative exploration. Her teaching is known for clarity, humor, compassion, and courage, offering spaces where people can meet themselves honestly and move with greater freedom. A registered occupational therapist with a master’s degree in Leadership and Adult Learning, Anne Marie brings more than two decades of experience in movement education. Trained directly with 5Rhythms® founder Gabrielle Roth, she is accredited to teach both the Wave and Heartbeat maps. Based in Victoria, Canada, she teaches locally and internationally, creating movement spaces that are alive with possibility. Christine Tasseff
Christine has been facilitating movement as spiritual practice, artistic resource & psychological narrative for over 30 years.
Her Work draws on a number of disciplines with deep roots in the 5Rhythms Movement Practice of Gabrielle Roth, with whom she studied from 1986-2012. She is certified to tech the Waves & Heartbeat levels of this work.She is available for classes, workshops & private sessions upon request. Jo Cobbet
Jo lives and teaches in Los Angeles California. She’s been holding Dance events there and around the world for over 30 years. Jo brings her passion of experience from 5Rhythms, Open Floor, Soul Motion & other deeply embodied practices she’s trained in that have guided her life for decades… A favored teacher at NCDC Dance Camps Jo works in the moment and invites everyone to join her here. Wyld Lee
Wyld Lee is a sensitive & awkward animal whose native tongue is dance. She is a certified 5Rhythms facilitator; holding space since 2018 while working the 5Rhythms as a personal practice since 2014. Ronny Temple
Based in Olympia Washington, Ronny is a 5Rhythms Teacher with a wide breadth of experience in movement meditation and leadership that serves him well as he holds and guides OlyWaves. His most salient experiences though are in the realm of meditation and spirit. Ronny fell in love with the 5Rhythms practice around 2003 and twenty-two years later is still in the honeymoon phase. More of a wise guy than a wise man Ronny focuses on nurturing a light heart on and off the dance floor.
